Collision suffers from all of the same issues as Crash (this film's most direct comparison; the two movies are very similar). Basically, it's a generally passable but deeply flawed script that uses excellent acting and high production values to disguise itself as deep, thought-provoking social commentary while actually being quite simplistic, heavy-handed, and unoriginal in its message.
