Okay, I may a bit biased about the film, given my name and my involvement on the film. The director, and I, have been friends for a few decades and she had me read various versions of this amazing script. The screening at SXSW was amazing and I can’t wait for everyone to see how beautiful and amazing this movie really is. And, yes….. I liked it!
I don’t know where to start. I wanted to watch this because people have claimed to throw up after watching this. After seeing it, the only reason that I want to vomit is that I spent money on it. This was such a great backstory as to her downward spiral, her general state of mind, and the environment that helped build the craziness that Pearl became.
