  I Saw the TV Glow 2024

  I know this movie won’t be for everyone, but damn I thought it was great. I went in expecting a horror movie and instead got a devastating, surreal, existential, quiet little drama. Justice Smith is surprisingly shooting up there as one of my fav young working actors today. This one lived in my head rent free for daayyyysssss after.

  Not as good as I remembered, but still a very effective thriller. It opens at a breakneck pace, but then slows way down. I love me a quiet slow burn thriller, but this definitely could’ve benefitted from tighter pacing. Maybe shave like 20 minutes off and it would’ve hit so hard.

  Surprised how much I enjoyed this. There was a lot of filler and obvious sequel/future baiting, but everything else was surprisingly mature and somber in tone.

  Namor is one of the best things to happen to the MCU in a long time.
