Bergman Week on Fårö, 5:
Last time I watched this movie, I could appreciate it, I did not enjoy it. I chalked this up to my lack of sleep. So naturally, I decided to watch it at 4 in the morning in Bergman's private cinema.
The seats were super comfortable, carpet soft (no shoes allowed), and the room pitch black. Surprisingly, I didn't fall asleep.

Bergman Week on Fårö, 4:
Audrey Diwan mentioned in her talk that there was a seven minute shot in the movie, and most people never notice. Even knowing this, I struggled to find the scene. I think thats a testament to how masterful this movie is, from how it's shot, to the acting, dialogue and editing (or lack of editing).
Vartolomei is in almost every single shot, and is giving it her all. The over the shoulder tracking shots, and tight focal length of the lens really heighten the anxiety and stress that Anne is going through.
