It's disturbing. It is really disturbing! This film starts as a black, but somehow endearingly, whimsical comedy and ends in a bitterly evil something that is much more like a horror film than anything you expect before. You get really scared to death of how this abysmally depressing story will go on. (Ohh I was so fucking scared of that old scary woman.) Incredibly beautiful song! On the occasion of Donald Sutherland's passing, the plot even has a very interesting metaphorical double meaning, and it gives the short film definitly a few extra emotional points that it didn't had before. I had often noticed Sutherland positively. Frankly, I rarely liked the majority of his characters but he was always able to trigger something inside of me thanks to his way of acting and his choice for roles. I should definitely get to know a few more of his films.

(I hope the film will stay here on Letterboxd. 🙏🙄)

Especially as a guy who wants to study film in the future it's so enormously interesting what were said about the style how Eastwood directed this feature. The same can be said about how he interacted with the people of the departments Photography, Editing, Production Design, Screenwriting and Production. Very inspiring!! ☺
