This is way more violent than I was expecting. It totally feels like it should be a family adventure film, but by the end, you'll have witnessed:
- Multiple men fall hundreds of feet to their death.
- a guy get his head bitten off.
- multiple stabbings
- a giant falls hundreds of feet to his death.
- a man gets stepped on.
- a giant explodes from the inside out.

Nosferatu 2024
Eggers deliver another masterclass in atmosphere and tone. (The snowy streets of Germany, the dense smoke is suffocating at the inn, the chilly Carpathian castle, etc...)
The slightly imperfect camera pans and the timing of camera moves enhance an already great story.
The cast was on point, and Willem Dafoe was a great little spazzoid running around trying to get the offensive snowball against Orlock rolling down the hill.
Nosferatu looks great.
The sound engineering is very good, and Eggers does an awesome job using SOUND and smash cuts to great effect.
Really enjoyed this film.

Dead Heat 1988
After chatting with a friend about this long forgotten. Film I'd watched as a kid (but couldn't remember a damn thing about), I fired it up on Tubi.
This movie is all over the place:
- The film teases a potential rekindling of a former relationship between two characters and they completely drop it.
- One of the leads is killed offscreen and is MIA in the film for about 20 mins during the second act.
- It's an action…
