Had to watch this movie for an American Studies class. Ended up loving it. The plot is incredible, love the symbolism, just overall a fantastic movie, highly recommended watch.

Max Fischer is an insufferable asshole teenager. If I were Cross I would have gotten a restraining order immediately. Blume is clearly just a guy going through a midlife crisis who hates his family. I am unsure of what Yang sees in Fischer in any way, because, and let me make myself crystal clear, he is the absolute WORST, PATHOLOGICAL LIAR, ASSHOLE EVER. But overall good movie and would watch again. I hope there is a sequel where Max is put to death by firing squad.
