It feels like they tried to mix inception & James Bond with the Marvel Universe and I think they succeeded in a bad way, if you know what I mean. Borrowing from deep & exciting fields like neuroscience & eastern philosophy, adding almost cliche like martial arts & aesthetics, and then beating everything down as flat as possible to reach the mainstream audience. Could have been great if it wasn’t for the very unscientific approach of the supposed scientific elite of humanity with the decisional intelligence of a generic walking dead character dieing due to no reason other than borderline stupidity.
