An attempted mash-up of Ford v. Ferrari and Rush, but it lacks the exhilaration and fails to captivate like them. It feels rushed, crossing the finish line without letting us see the events unfold meticulously. No signs of racing standings, scores, etc., to inform viewers where the two rivals stand, thus failing in its ability to make it exciting to follow. The story's pacing is inconsistent due to weird transitions. It seems to lack the intense and thrilling moments of racing against the clock. I didn't resonate with any of the characters or find myself rooting for any of them. Could've been better for sure.

I grew up reading Dav Pilkey because of Captain Underpants. Let me tell you, seeing his artwork come to life in 3D animation is beautiful. DreamWorks, please make more!

A story about a guy who can't feel pain? Upon hearing that, my first thought was immediately about the coolest ways they would show how he doesn’t feel pain. Instead, this film made me realize there are smaller and finer details in day-to-day life to also consider when someone has the disorder Nathan is portrayed as having.

This film truly started off well, being so humorous, but about halfway through, the story takes a turn that makes it increasingly absurd over time. It’s like simple logic was thrown out the window. If it weren’t for such an odd second half, I would’ve rated this higher.

It goes back to its original roots of being a sci-fi horror—chilling, haunting, thrilling, and so much more. The third act was insane and sickly cool, and one of the jump scares even managed to get a reaction out of me in my seat.

I'm glad this played in a 1.90 ratio throughout; it made me feel absorbed into the fuller picture and the grand size of it all. David Jonsson is a clear standout with his impressive range, differentiating…
