went to see this movie for wes anderson's style, sophia lillis, and maya hawke. left this movie with "last train to san fernando" on my playlist and the feeling that there was a theme or perhaps message in this film that i did not particularly understand.
one time i took 150 mg of edibles and when i woke up i was informed that this is what i put on the television. i do not remember that night.
i've seen this so many times (both before and after that incident) and i have not gotten tired of it yet. it's amazing. david attenborough has never narrated a bad documentary. it has really cool camera work and i learned so many fun facts!
neil degrasse tyson's best film appearance & a genuinely great animated title sequence.
it's not a good movie, but if you went into this expecting it to be, you are the problem. it's the epitome of funny because it's bad, and even better when you're watching it with people that make you laugh.
