  Strange Darling 2023

  The best way to summarize this without spoilers is a hookup gone very wrong. The film keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen, and while the characters aren't exactly full of emotional depth they are engaging. I can't give it a full 5 stars because there was one tactic that crossed the line from clever to manipulative imo, but even with that caveat I highly recommend it.

  Feels like a extended nightmare. The movie keeps up a precise atmosphere where everything feels slightly off-kilter, with some visceral frights every now and then. The ending felt a bit cut off but overall I loved it.
