The way it portrays everyday moments tainted by subtle misogyny is painfully relatable, especially if you’ve had firsthand experience. These women, so accustomed to mistreatment, see even the tiniest acts of decency as a win.

    It definitely tried to reclaim hinduism for the underprivileged but I really wish it would play more into the actual reality and while it had thinly veiled references to the Babri Masjid Demolition, I wish it was more blatant and more unapologetic.
    Amazing directoral debut tho and that score by Zakir Hussain was splendid per usual
