Doctor Mordrid 1992

Strange Behavior 1981
It meanders here and there and the plot is maybe just a bit over complicated, but it's a unique angle on a Slasher - with lots of science mumbo jumbo - and you can only BARELY tell that it was filmed in New Zealand! Also, it's got Jimmy Olsen, Nurse Ratched, and Billy the Kid from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls 2023
It's hard to pin down where this movie fits, but I did like a lot of it and if I'd happened upon it on a lazy Saturday afternoon in 1987, it might've been one of my favorites like Ice Pirates.
However, although I appreciate the craft and comedic potential behind the lead actor (and writer, and director) and the vision he has, his titular character crosses that line from endearing to annoying a little too often. Perhaps if the movie were about 20 minutes shorter and edited just a bit tighter, it could've been cooler.
