A Complete Unknown 2024
A cinematic concert! Incredibly fascinating story of Dylan’s rise to fame and how he truly took his own road and pathed it for the future of folk. Dylan really said ‘my way or the highway; Played beautifully by Chalamet and everybody else they cast. Amazing casting. I loved the two parts of this film, we get such a great picture of his musical career and relationships with other singers and lovers.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A great film that shows how a woman with PTSD interacts with a society that is in such contrast of how she views the world. She flees to live with her sister in New Orleans to get away from all the shit she was in but ends up getting wrapped up in her sister’s abusive relationship with the Stanley asshole. Anora 2024
holy shit... I mean wow.. I am still speechless writing this review. Got to see Mikey Madison in the flesh at the SCAD film fest screening and it was an honor. Sean Baker is an incredible writer and with a budget of just $100K, they had; What an excellent director. This movie PERFECTLY represented the mind of a sex worker and the external and internal effects it has on women in the industry. Absolutely insane. Incredible blend of comedy, drama, and straight sadness. The ending.... oh my word.

Chronicle 2012
What an authentic film. I love how they kept the mockumentary 1st pov style throughout the entirety of the movie even when nobody is there, example is when Andrew ends up in a hospital but they use security cam footage. Really cool way to keep it authentic. The natural dialogue between the characters creates such a fun dynamic between the 3 guys. For a budget of only 15 million, Trank did a wonderful job.
