  Jonathan Larson wrote my favorite musical in Rent. This movie adapts his autobiography musical of the same name (tick tick boom) and does it so amazingly. The songs used are the same ones written by Jonathan Larson back in 1990 and show how great of a writer he was. The movie plot tying in with the original revised performance that allow for insight that the musical never had is what makes this adaptation so great. I love Andrew Garfield.

  Holy moly, Excruciatingly hard watch😭. I love Joesph Levitt in this one because he’s not an absolute evil man and only a little evil man. Did not like the smut writing at the start. I also watched this at work and I’m pretty sure my coworker thinks I’m crazy now
