  One of the most thought provoking films on recent wars and the effects on returning soldiers. Not a happy story and not a happy ending, but a real story with real characters. I've always loved Haggis, and I think he is a very underrated director. "The Next Three Days" is one of his that also deserves more credit. Nevertheless, check this one out if you haven't, but be prepared for some tears.

  Honestly, this was one of the best this year. Sheridan has proved himself in other films (Hell or High Water/Sicario) but this was brutal, raw, and real. It was also the perfect time. It accomplished what it set out to do and concluded, no need for wishy washy boring filler scenes. I can't wait to check it out again.
