Not at all what I expected, but at the same time exceeded my expectations. Jojo “The rabbit” Betzler was a shining example of seeing people for who they actually are and not just what society portrays. This was the first movie I’ve seen that used comedy as a way to navigate the dark atrocities that was the holocaust, and showed that through all the dark times we’ve faced emotions and personal relationships will endure.
