A Silent Voice is a film that warms and breaks my heart. With music that makes me tear up and a story that makes me want to cry my absolute eyes out. Is what Ishida going through socially relatable? Damn, maybe. To be put simply, one thought I had seeing his experiences can be put into one word, real. I said it once and I’ll say it again. This film warms and breaks my heart, and I will continue to believe this for many years to come.
