  EMO the Musical 2016

  "Jesus would have been an emo" got me. Rated more than I should have because of the musical numbers. It's like a Romeo & Juliet story without the dying - Just being really sad. (R&J would have been emos too)

  On another note, this film tries too hard to get a lot of themes down and it felt pretty superficial.

  Well, at least it got a few laughs out of me.

  Brutal 1980

  It made me feel sick... And that was the point. A well-made drama and mystery while showcasing hard societal truths about society's acceptance to reduce and abuse women, and how women live in silence and endure the cruelty they face in their lives. It does not end there as it also gave a commentary about how feminists are blinded by their selfish reasons that they lost sight of what equality really is. That's not even the whole package! This film tackled plenty of societal issues and they were explored well. It is truly sickening to the point you'd desire a social reform.
