This one life is all I need!

What a magical film, so colorful and bold. The choice to animate the action on 2s really blew my mind, and gave it such an interesting and fast look. It seemed like a real labor of love paying homage to greatness in every art form. This movie has no right being this good, funny, heartfelt and poignant especially packaged in this sort of bombastic entertainment. It really felt like every member of the film-making team was allowed to bring ideas and play. Love love love this one.

I forgot how good this movie is!

I honestly didn’t remember much about this movie but holy shit is is good. There’s a reason why Kaufman is so well revered as a writer even though he doesn’t direct. The movie is so cerebral while allowing the characters to explore the idea for you. It never feels forced and always feels grounded and that’s especially difficult for a movie with this premise.
