  Wow! 
  “Yes, shes emotionally disturbed. She’s unbalanced.” And folks, unbalance you will be throughout this film. Robert Aldrich creates suspense through engagement from the viewer (ex. knowing what’s going to happen while pleading it doesn’t). Not a single frame was diluted, but concentrated with psychological horror, hoping there is a way out. A new favorite!
