The Beekeeper 2024
The Beekeeper is the modern day equivalent of 1985's Commando. Jason Statham gives zero fucks in the movie and rips through every single bad guy who crosses his path, and literally does not sustain a single injury until the final 10 minutes of the movie, just like Arnold. The Beekeeper is pure serious cheese and I love it.

First and foremost, Eric and Shelly are incredibly unlikable, and contrary to them being killed before the original movie even begins, here we get to spend a full 40…

Rebel Ridge 2024
An incredibly solid suspense thriller. What could've easily been a John Wick rip off, if not marketed as one, was instead a very sturdy self contained thriller about exposing corruption within the police system. Aaron Pierre stars as our stoic protagonist, Terry, and holds his own against Don Johnson's police chief. Typically in these types of stories, the "you messed with the wrong guy" ones, the guy is always some ex-special ops super soldier who wages a one man war…
