This movie gives room to interpretation.
In my eyes he lives a perfect simple life, but when he is confronted with the fact that he is alone it fills him with sadness.
His avoidance for true connections and his love for routines forces me to see autism in him.
Besides all that, I kinda envy his life in a way.
