  Every time I watch this I like it less. The plot seems like a first draft with a series of convenient events with little or no reason behind them. Most of the dialogue sounds like they just wrote a summary of what the characters needed to communicate to each other without writing anything a person would actually say. Either that, or it’s some awkward reference to the original trilogy. It was really fun to watch in theaters, but every time I go back and rewatch all of the Star Wars movies this one just becomes more and more of a let down.

  This film has everything: racism, sexism, favorable comparisons to Mussolini, and the ending might technically count as sex trafficking. Probably one of the films that should’ve been lost.
