Chicken Run 2000
Moments prior to watching this film I was navigating a red zone in my childhood loungeroom flanked by my loving but emotionally avoidant parents. It got me (and them, I reckon) to a yellow/green zone. I spose watching my dad sit in a rocking chair and close his eyes and laugh at chicken gags somewhat soothed my inner child.
Second one’s better but gotta watch (and love) the first to really feel the second one and it’s still a 4 star film hands down.
