Honestly when I read the premise I expected it to be a touching and simple little film. But I was quite surprised with how complex and relatable it got by the end. There were moments where I felt like I was about to shed a tear too! Kieran Culkin’s Oscar was well deserved and Jesse Eisenberg is a great director and actor. And some scenes were perfectly written and directed (the scene where they’re on the rooftop near the end especially).
