Beautifully shot film and weirdly enough, not as unhinged as I thought it would be (considering its rep online). I won’t lie that it reminds me of Netflix’s You season 4 but with a dash of bisexuality, nudity, and necrophilia. I’m just glad that Rosamund Pike finally plays a wackier role again post-Gone Girl. I think a rewatch is needed to further analyze the film but I think you’d need more time to digest everything you saw.

Austenland 2013
I had such a great time watching this. It fuels my delusional tendencies but in the best way possible. There’s so much more to this film beyond surface level.

Barbie 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I grew up playing with Barbies and watching the animated Barbie movies. The second I heard a live-action Barbie was on the way to be directed by Greta Gerwig and starred Margot Robbie, I knew that it was automatically worth a trip to the cinemas. All Together Now 2020
It was enjoyable but the writing threw me off. They could've spent more time in some scenes instead of filler scenes and the ending felt rushed. The film aimed to be a touching and gut-wrenching and it did. 90% of the emotion was from Auli'i Cravalho who absolutely killed it in her role as Amber. I wished there were more scenes of Amber and her mother. Justina Machado was so great as her mom. This film had potential and it's saving grace were these two actors. I wouldn't mind watching it again but I think it wouldn't be anytime soon.
