Promising Young Woman 2020
I've watched it 3 times now. The ending always gets me because it shows a very sad truth: the system gets things done only when you're already dead and those nice guys are found guilty just because the victim did the smart thing and prepared her own "in case of my disappearing" kit. Cassie and Nina only matters when they are corpse, the rapists have turn into murderer and someone powerful (the lawyer) has stood up for their case. This is exactly like real life and that's why it's so heartbreaking.
