  The only person Eilis had back home in Ireland was her sister (Rose Lacey). When visiting Ireland after having made a life for herself in New York, it takes a moment, but she realizes that Ireland is no longer her home. Her mother was never her biggest supporter and she needed to let her go to be truly happy. I hope Eilis and Tony had the most beautiful life on long island. I hope they got to build their houses and started up their construction business. That is just what Rose would have dreamed for her sister. I freaking love movies about sister relationships
