robert eggers has really nailed this gothic style of screenplay. nosferatu is incredibly atmospheric and the score really elevates the tension we feel as the viewers. the horror in the first half lay in our own minds because we as the viewers or me anyway did not know what to expect, orlok was this insatiable monster. the build up to the reveal i feel couldve been more climactic and jesus christ the real jumpscare was the moustache he had 😭.…
