So many talents wasted with terrible writing. Nicole Kidman did a great job, i'm surprised to see Antonio Banderas and Sophie Wilde in here, they did good. Not a big fan of Dickinson, his character was unlikeable (in a negative way). I felt confused by this power dynamic between Kidman and Dickinson, maybe it was intended to be THAT way but i didn't find it pleasant at all. It came out very awkward, uncomfortable and confusing. I'm sure this will do better as a fanfic rather than a movie. This is a nitpick, there were editing cuts that was pretty weird and clunky

From someone who have read the book, i think Bong Joon-Ho elevated every scenes carefully, sprinkles something new and made it even more impactful. Every moments were hilarious, lovely, touching and also heartbreaking. Yes, it's a satire comedy, it's a romance story, but also story about humanity, colonization and existential topic. This movie stirred a lot of emotions in me. What an experience.
