a lot of people say they didn't like the second part, in my opinion it was the perfect juxtaposition to act one. the second part was supposed to show the aftermath, not have the same exact vibe to the previous part. overrall, this film is really good, and i like how it's able to show different perspectives. it feels so real, so raw.

I remember being so shocked seeing people of my ethnicity on screen, as well as many of our other Polynesian brothers and sisters. Seeing our mythology on the big screen was something else, and it was also my first time hearing and seeing people give the movie itself a standing ovation.
