There’s some interesting and great stuff in this, but it lacks the energy and nightmare tone of the second. The dramatic parts lacked conflict or the spark of the second cast. As a whole it didn’t seem to fit as well as the second with scenes feeling disconnected or scenes missing.
It’s a shame, I like the direction the story was going, it just fumbled the ball.
Best scene was the Santa bar scene.
