Adolescence 2025
I honestly loved how they filmed it- no cuts, just continuous filming and following of each character. I feel like there will be different interpretations of it- but it does one thing is portray toxic masculinity, incel culture (and the rise of detrimental influencers such as andrew tate, on the younger generations of boys), and male rage. It does lightly touch how these impact women, however, it doesn’t do it enough justice. Just as what the detective Misha said- “everyone will remember Jamie. No one will remember her.” The focus is taken away from women who are victims of men.
But anyways! Loved it.
