  To say nothing abt the mess of the storytelling, Brianne Tju was right for the role and ate it up… Joey King, Chase Stokes, and Keith Powers did not follow.

   Laverne was good but the whole main plot gave casting her (read: an openly trans black woman) as the villain a tangle of very weird implications.

  Also, Brianne Tju had chemistry with Joey King but Joey King did not have chemistry with Brianne Tju... like how does that even happen??
