I don’t know if I was laughing my ass off because I was drunk or because the writing is that good. I watch this one years ago with my dad and finally revisited it. I remember not caring for it much then but loving it now. Highly recommended if you want a movie that’s lighter, but still has some serious stuff going on.

M 1931
Kind of insane how this was made in the 1930s. Because this EASILY outclasses most modern movies. It’s shot in such a modern way that I constantly had to remind myself this was from fucking 1931. The way it uses a hybrid of sound and silent is quite neat as well.
The film did drag during a bit in the middle but it picked up again not after long. Highly recommend fir anyone who wants to watch a cool movie.

Easily the best John Wick. It does some amazing world building for the series. The sets and costumes are perfect, really selling this complex world. The actors once again nail their roles with very emotional performances. It’s the best conclusion i could ask for.

Godzilla vs. Biollante 1989
I picked up the new Criteron 4K release of this and I was eagerly to finally watch a quality version of the sub. While it wasn’t as amazing as I recall I’m still very happy with my purchase.
The new 4K scan looks GORGEOUS. Making scenes like the Godzilla memorial and Biollantes appearance all the nicer. There’s also a couple establishing shots that are just delightfully to see so clearly.
It’s had a much wider release since I fist viewed it, so the physical copy isn’t necessary. But nothing beats watching a movie natively on a disc.
