  Wow. Can't make a coherent analysis yet, so I'll just leave this here. Wow.
  I adored the acting, Gloria Swanson's especially, how she interpreted the narcissistic, pathetic and delusional diva clinging to her past. For Norma, people revolver around her, everyone is a spectator to her performance, from her glorious days to her fading echo.
  I found the ending especially chilling. How she tried to mold Joe into the perfect man who could recite the part of her admirer, and…

  What can I say, I love me a good expressionist and gothic vibe. I know it was in the trailer, but the shadow of Orlok's hand extending above the city is phenomenal.
