I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and I wasn't expecting to. The world-building, cinematography, storyline, characters, costumes, and performances were all stunning. I do understand where some people are coming from when they say they were 'waiting for something to happen the entire time'; but, in my opinion, I think this movie did what it was supposed to. Set up part two of the story (and potentially more parts? idk, i know nth abt this story)
Sidenote: why tf did I find Timothee so attractive in this? Like WTF?!

I feel like this had the potential to be way better. The performances from the supporting cast were not great and the dialogue pissed me off a lot. But, it was somewhat reminiscent of the vibe of 2000s romcoms, so I'll give them that. It was okay, but I wouldn't rewatch.
