it took me a little bit to get into this film, but having watched it i don't think i will ever stop thinking about it. i do believe i need to watch it again to fully get EVERYTHING but yeah... woah. the last thirty minutes of the film really got me thinking about lotsss of things.
don't think i would watch it again, the end blood scene made me roll my eyes, and margaret qualley is so hot. yeah that just about covers it.
watching this as a 21 year old crim/psych student who sees the influence social media has on children’s lives whilst being a social media user myself was hard. a phenomenal phenomenal show. i don’t honestly think i could fault it.
the best part of the film was:
ryle: ‘you fell down the stairs’
someone in the cinema: ‘you LIAR’
followed by the whole place laughing
that’s it. i think it was a faithful adaptation, but only proved to me how bad and cliche hoover’s books are.
