I love that both Cary Grant and James Stewart share the screen here, because they are both great, and they complement each other well in this movie. Katharine Hepburn is a little less shrill and annoying here than in her other movies, and even occasionally shows a softer, subtler side.

A unique and creative story about a hobo who lives in the Manhattan Fifth Avenue mansion of a millionaire, and what happens when the millionaire's daughter comes home unexpectedly to find him and his friend there. Hilarity ensues. The hobo, Mr. McKeever, is the most interesting character, but the daughter Trudy (played by Gale Storm) is also delightfully refreshing in her role.
I wanted to like this movie. It was a good story idea. I found the characters one dimensional and the acting left much to be desired. Consequently, neither of the main protagonists, Hattie or her husband Jeb, are very likable or compelling. Some of the landscape scenes of the Montana frontier were stunning, but there wasn't any music which would have improved the overall experience I think.
