It was fun, it was cute.
Funny? Sometimes. I love Keke in anything but I was NOT a fan of SZA’s character (but that’s good, that means SZA was good at acting if the actor makes the viewer feel some sort of way towards their character)
Anyway, I had fun. Story was okay, kinda ridiculous towards the third act (I know what you’re thinking, “it’s a comedy it’s supposed to be ridiculous”) but comedies are also supposed to be funny 🙂

This is the movie Wes Anderson wishes he could make.
I laughed so much and also cried so much? Not because anything sad was happening but moreso because of how human this film was. It was full of innocent stress and finding comfort and joy in the darkest corners of life. I also really enjoyed the side characters all becoming one, all having a key role in the bigger picture (including the turkey(s)) lol

I hate when movies try to adopt American politics into their subplot. The whole Trump impersonation (Ruffalo), the smart black woman becoming the next leader, the whole “the real aliens are the humans” narrative. Like Jesus Christ, I see this crap everyday on my feed, I go to the movies to escape all this bullshit.
Pattinson’s acting was amazing. 17 got on my nerves here and there. 18 was great. I would’ve liked a more 17+18 “rivalry to friendship” story where they end up killing everyone or something lol idk it was very mediocre and a disappointment for Bong.
