  Honestly a lot better than I was expecting.

  Some of the effects and shots look a bit bad at times and as much as I think Tim Roth is great in all the Taratinos I’ve watched, the lines he was given here were … mmm no. 

  This Bruce banner and hulk feels a lot different from the later films as well and not just because of a different casting. But for stand-alone it worked well enough for me.

  The most Scott Pilgrim a vampire film has ever been
  Visually fantastic and great use of both music and silence. A skateboarding vampire isn’t something I was expecting to see. Cool nods to Western cinema traditions whilst still being its own thing. Also like the subtlety of the digital effects. 

  I did feel like it was starting to drag a bit though and the stalking/killing sequences started to feel a little repetitive.
