Such mixed feelings! On the one hand I appreciate the beauty and suspense of the film - as well as the overall composition. While the story ended the way we thought it might, there was a great deal of fresh perspective. Ultimately however, we did not get enough character establishment to warrant a deeper feeling. Major points for style, score, atmosphere, and doing something different.

The storyline is weak and relies upon meta-humor, extended uber-violent conflicts, and a fair amount of CGI. However the film still mostly succees through fourth-wall breaks, brilliant cameos, extensive profanity and sexual humor, and chemistry between the two charismatic leads. Clearly a labor of love and that goes a long way.
