Absolutely amazing zombie movie except for the military side quest. Although my love Cillian going John Wick still makes that part redeemable.
There’s such grunge to this movie. Really interesting shots of an empty London. The cities feel like empty husks while the countryside shots felt almost ethereal? Especially with Jim’s valium dreams and majestic ass horses running around a lakeside. On the rewatch I really appreciate the subtle callbacks throughout the movie.

“Sickkkk” - during all the desert action scenes
Stylistic camera angles and speed(?)… kinda awesome. The trailer made it took like the cgi was going to be absolutely grim when actually only a few scenes were awful.
I love Anya Taylor Joy, she was a badass sniper and renaissance woman. Chris Hemsworth was too hot so they gave him an ugly nose and called it a day.
I also liked how it didn’t dilly-dally around with the important plot scenes.…
