  David Lynch is just not my cup of tea. Like twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive starts off very compelling, but by the end I’m just wishing I could understand what it meant. No mystery is solved :’(

  Straightforward yet quirky, this film is a more lighthearted take on the southern gothic genre. Shirley MacLaine and Jack Black were perfectly cast. Wouldn’t necessarily watch again because the plot felt played out, but the bit characters were a hoot.
