    Happy 100 years to Nosferatu

Although cinema has greatly changed over this century, this film is still referenced throughout the many forms of media. Each scene is hauntingly charming and visually stunning.

Considering this is a black and white film, Murnau conveys excellent use of lighting and shadows, enough to install a deep fear of vampires to the individuals seeing it during its first screenings. He juxtaposes imagery such as malign wolves and terrified women; filming poetry of fear.
