I get it. This is one of those movies that people are going to hate. Like, really, really hate. And I get it. Mother! was marketed as a horror film, in a lot of traditional senses. The trailer reeked of Rosemary's Baby (I wasn't convinced going in that it wasn't going to be a remake of Polanski's classic).
