Enjoyed all the archival footage, and seeing Liza tell her story in her own words, but overall felt pretty safe. The only people interviewed were Liza and her close friends, with a couple subject matter experts. I like my documentaries to get a little messy, especially for someone with such rich lore. Still, this was a fitting tribute to the showbiz icon.

Also, I really did not need to hear about the night Darren Criss spent singing with Liza and her friends at her home. Begone, straight boy.

Maybe the most gorgeous and most tragic war propaganda film ever? A+ mind blowing cinematography. And a strong performance from the lead actress (for a kinda weak character).

Completely unfocused. Too many storylines, none of which were treated with enough care to actually keep me engaged. Which left everything feeling a bit boring, punctuated by moments of fun. Disappointingly, the plot I was most interested in (Monica Bellucci as villainous nemesis) got the least screen time. Catherine O’Hara was the best part of this. Michael Keaton also remains a decent Beetlejuice, and production did a good job with the practical effects. But Winona Ryder had the same mixture…

Despite several a-little-too-on-the-nose self referential moments to past franchise films, it offered enough new scares to keep things interesting & fun, and occasionally horrifying. Oh, and xenopussy supremacy!!!!!
