Mickey Rourke spends most of the movie throwing furniture and slamming doors and walls with an open palm. However, there is a scene where he's pitching in a stickball game and, to his credit, it actually looks like he's thrown a baseball before. In fact, it might be the most natural throwing motion I've ever seen from an actor. Kudos to you, Mickey.

Eric motherfucking Roberts. Where to begin? After this performance, I can understand why he didn't get too…

I thought the book was fine. The movie is also fine but not quite as good. Hoffman is fine. Hackman is also fine. Cusack is exactly the same in every movie so you know what you're getting there.

I thought it was ironic that in the movie they decided to make the court case about guns instead of tobacco. I think mass shootings have only increased in frequency since this movie came out. Oh well!

    The first generation iPod plays…

Go to the movies. Ask for MaXXXine. She's not too gratuitous. She's got a decent sense of humor. I really think you'll like her.

The summer just started. Have yourself a fun time.

    Lightning has struck twice.

What a prequel. What a picture. Miller's vision is nothing short of genius. ATJ and Hemsworth are fantastic. This movie is so fucking sick.

A good prequel should make you want to immediately fire up the next one. If it wasn't 2AM right now, I'd probably be watching Fury Road instead of writing this review. Give George Miller carte blanche to do whatever he wants with his saga.
