I think this may be the most quotable movie I've ever watched. "What we do in life echoes in eternity."
Crowe absolutely bodies this role, talk about an actor completely giving into the character, I could feel the rage and vengeance coming off him through the screen. One of my favorite scenes is when Commodus tests Maximus' wraith and tries to bait him into killing him in the rink. Maximus shows self restraint which is so badass. You hear him…

Mixed feelings about Demolition. In one hand, I understand that it is a portrayal of the realities of delayed grief and reflection of one's life. Davis is a really confusing character to understand, but I wonder if this is on purpose. On the other hand, there were just so many ideas and subplots of the movie that never were delved into and it left so much opportunity on the table. I didn't feel like the carousel scene at the end…

A sad, but well sequenced movie that delivers low blow after low blow of emotional surprises, especially for someone who did not know the Von Erich story. Zac Efron is an excellent lead as Kevin with some really good acting in those last couple of scenes of the movie. The wrestling scenes worked super well and transitioned the story along with ease. I can't say enough about the shot selection, especially those cross dissolves between the brothers and workout montages. It unfortunately is not a rewatchable movie because of how sad the story is, but it is a very well done film.
